Whether as director and creator of the Barcelona Big Blues Bond, as a member of Los Mambo Jambo, as part of the Barcelona Gipsy Klezmer Orchestra or the Bernat Font trio, Ivan Kovacevic has made a definite near superhuman effort of being ubiquitous in all these projects without losing an ounce of integrity or energy.
5 Spots is now yet another example of his insatiable dedication to music without compromise or rest of any kind, and with the requirements of maximum dedication and quality. Rather than “terrible”, this is a very Scary Ivan.
